Hnee Pagoda (also known as the Bamboo Strip Pagoda) is a notable religious site located in Kalaw, about 70 kilometers west of Taunggyi. It is famous for its centerpiece: a 500-year-old Buddha image meticulously woven from thin strips of bamboo.
